National General Practice (GP) Profiles

These profiles are designed to assist GPs, consortia and PCTs to ensure that they are providing and commissioning effective and appropriate healthcare services for their local population. The profiles contain information that can be used for commissioning, for local needs assessment, for monitoring of population health and service use, and for clinical governance reviews. Specifically, there is information on: local demographics, estimated prevalence rates, Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) indicators, admission rates and patient satisfaction.
