The datasets in this theme provide information on the types of geographical areas. For example, there are area classifications such as the ONS Output Area Classification OAC (which can be used for Customer Insight analysis), and Countryside Agency rural-urban classification. There are also datasets that identify potential neighbours against which to benchmark yourself (such as IPF Neighbours). Finally, there are datasets that provide lookup tables that can be used to link different geographies together, and definitions of types of geography (such as Super Output Areas).
