Data highlights
Work Programme participants
Data on the number of participants of the DWP Work Programme has been published on the DWP tabulation tool, with monthly updates to January 2012. This data is available down to Local Authority level. Work Programme was launched nationally on the 1 June 2011 and replaced Flexible New Deal. Everyone who receives Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA) and Employment Support Allowance (ESA) can access the Work Programme at a specified point in their claim, depending on their circumstances.
DWP Benefit quarterly updates
Data for a range of key DWP benefit datasets has been updated for August 2011. These updates are due to be published on Nomis and DWP on the 14th of March. These indicators can be used to compare levels of worklessness, disability and low income across neighbourhoods in Britain. The following indicators are included
- Income Support
- Incapacity Benefit/Severe Disablement Allowance
- Jobseekers Allowance
- Attendance Allowance
- Disability Living Allowance
- Pension Credit
- State Pension
- Carers Allowance.
