Social Housing demand and supply
A range of data on the supply and demand of social housing (available here) has been published by DCLG (Communities and Local Government). Data on the number of new affordable homes (both social rented and intermediate affordable homes) has been updated for 2011 alongside datasets showing the total dwelling stock by tenure in the Local Authority. Data on social housing rents has been updated for 2011/12. DCLG have also updated the data on the number of households on the local authorities’ housing waiting (available here) for 2011.
Local alcohol profiles 2011
The North West Public Health Observatory (NWPHO) have published updated Local alcohol profiles for 2011. These contain 24 indicators relating to the consumption of alcohol, and wider social and health consequences. As well as updated data, 4 new indicators have been added for people aged 16+: abstaining from drinking; engaged in lower risk drinking; engaged in increasing risk drinking; and engaged in higher risk drinking. Data is available down to Local Authority level.
