- DescriptionIPN is a gazetteer linking approximately 70,000 named places in England and Wales to their respective administrative, health and electoral areas; it also relates places to registration districts and national parks. A 1 km grid reference is provided and, where the place has legally defined boundaries, a re-aggregated 1991 Census population count. 2001 Census population data is also provided for wards.

- DescriptionThe Ward History Database provides a history of electoral wards/divisions in England and Wales since Census Day 1991. The product is released annually and includes information up to the end of December. The database provides annual ward/division lists for England and Wales displayed at a variety of geographic levels. It enables the user to relate end of year wards/divisions to the wards/divisions as at the 1991 Census and, for wards/divisions post 2001, to the wards/divisions as at the 2001 Census.
